Well, the blog is back to some form of normality after changing web hosts!! You may notice you got an email for this posting. Since I changed web hosts, I had to re-subscribe some people. If you are getting this and don’t want to, just drop me a line or you can unsubscribe easily from the link in the email (I think).
Anyway, Merry Christmas to everyone!! Particularly those family and friends a long way away, we are missing you all and could do with a few 30C days right now. It’s been a very busy year, but rewarding of course now that we have another member in the family. I won’t get into a cheesy yearly recap or anything. Maybe I’ll write a very quick summary sometime soon. Suffice it to say the year was fun, busy, challenging and full of changes and learning.
Thanks to all our friends and family both near and far and we hope everyone has a good Christmas and New Year. Thanks also to Jo and Travis and Brett and Nerida for visiting us recently and spending some time in cold Chicago.

Hi Everyone!! It’s been a while since we have posted, but here it is finally. Things have been quite busy recently and summer has been ticking along. Unfortunately, summer is nearing the end and we all know what that means (winter for you Aussies!). It has been a good summer though although the weather could have been a bit better - very very wet recently.
Some highlights recently have included Amelia’s 6 month mark (already - time is flying!), a family bbq/pool party in Chicago, a short vacation over in Michigan (there was a separate post on this) and the work/learning I have been doing to get Redback Investments off and flying (a Real Estate Investing company). Lastly, MB has been enjoying getting out with nature and has taken some cools pics of local wildlife, mostly in our back yard. Last but not least, we saw Crowded House live in Chicago last weekend which was very cool.
